How to Install Chatdek on WordPress

You need your Chatdek account and your snippet. It looks like this, with your own key in place of YOUR_KEY:

You also need permission to edit your WordPress site's code or scripts.

Open Plugins, choose Add New and install a plugin that lets you add code to the site footer (search for a header and footer scripts plugin). Activate it.

Open the plugin's settings, find the Footer or Scripts in Footer box and paste your snippet there.

Save the changes. If you use a child theme, you can instead add the snippet to the child theme's footer.php just before the closing body tag.

If you use page builders or caching plugins, clear their caches.

After saving, open your website in a private window, wait a few seconds and look for the chat button. If you do not see it, clear any caching plugin or CDN cache and reload.

Then open the Install Guide in the Chatdek portal; it confirms when it can see the widget on your website.

Make sure you pasted the whole line, with nothing added inside the quotes, and that it is saved and published.

Check that a cookie or security plugin is not blocking third-party scripts, and that your domain matches the website address in your Chatdek account.
