Referral Program Terms

Refer & Earn is run by Advergenix ("we", "us") for Chatdek customers. It lets a customer (the "referrer") recommend Chatdek to another business (the "referred business"). By using your referral link or code you accept these terms together with the Terms of Service. The offer shown on this page and in your portal at the time the referred business pays is the offer that applies.

• Any Chatdek customer with an active account can refer. Each account has one personal link and code under Refer & earn in the portal.
• You may share your link or code with businesses you genuinely know or reach honestly (for example by message, email, a website or social post). You must follow the Acceptable Use Policy: no spam, no misleading claims about Chatdek, no pretending to be Chatdek, and no paid advertising that targets the Chatdek name or brand terms.
• You may not offer the referred business anything of your own on condition that it uses your code, in a way that misleads it about Chatdek's price or terms.

• A referral counts when a new business signs up or pays after opening your link (the link is remembered for 60 days on that browser) or after typing your code at sign-up.
• The referred business must be new to Chatdek: it must not already be a paying customer, must not have been referred before, and must not be you, your own company, your team or an account you control.
• Each referred business is linked to the first valid referrer. We cannot move a referral to someone else afterwards, except to correct a mistake.
• We may link a business to you by hand in our system if we are satisfied it came from you.

• The referred business gets 20% off its first payment for Pro, Agency, Scale. It is applied automatically at checkout.
• It applies to a first plan payment only (not to renewals, top-ups or later orders) and cannot be combined with a discount code: if a code is used, the code applies and the referral discount does not.
• A business that looks like the referrer (same email address, same company domain or the same device or network) does not receive the discount until our team has looked at it.

• When the referred business's first payment is confirmed, you earn 20% of the amount it actually paid (after its discount) as Chatdek credit.
• The reward is held for 14 days and then added to your credit if the payment has not been refunded or reversed. You see it as "pending" in the portal while it is held, and we email you when it is added.
• The reward is earned on the first payment only, not on renewals or later purchases. Payments in a currency other than US dollars are reviewed by our team, who work out the reward by hand.
• We may limit how much credit one referrer can earn in a calendar month. A reward above the limit is held and released in the following month.
• Referrals we flag as suspicious are held for review. If we approve them you receive the reward; if not, it is refused.

• Credit is a reduction on your own future Chatdek payments (plans and add-ons). It is applied automatically; at least $1 of every payment is still charged.
• Credit is held in US dollars. It has no cash value and cannot be withdrawn, sold, transferred, refunded or used to pay for anything other than Chatdek. It is separate from your prepaid balance.
• Credit is not income paid to you by us; it is a price reduction. You are responsible for any tax that applies to you.
• If your account is closed, unused credit lapses, except where the law says otherwise.

• If the referred business's first payment is refunded in full, charged back or reversed, the reward is cancelled. If part of it is refunded, the reward is reduced by the same share.
• If the reward had already been added to your credit, we take it back. If you have already spent it, your credit balance can go below zero and later rewards are used to settle it first.
• We may refuse, withhold or reverse rewards, and close a referral code, where we reasonably believe the rules were broken: for example self-referral, fake or duplicate sign-ups, several sign-ups from the same device or network, accounts opened only to collect the discount, or misleading promotion.
• We use limited technical signals to detect this (for example the email domain and a hashed network address stored with the link click and the referral record). Their use is described in our Privacy Policy.

As a referrer you can see how many people opened your link, who signed up (with the email address partly hidden), their status and your reward. You do not see their payments, plan or account details. By signing up through a link, a business agrees that its sign-up and first-payment status are shared with the referrer in this limited way.

We may change, pause or end the program, or change the discount, reward, hold period, limits or eligible plans, at any time. A change does not affect a reward already pending for a payment that has been made; credit already added to your account stays yours until you use it. We will update this page, and for significant changes tell customers in the portal.
