How to Install Chatdek on Magento and Adobe Commerce

You need your Chatdek account and your snippet. It looks like this, with your own key in place of YOUR_KEY:

You also need permission to edit your Magento and Adobe Commerce site's code or scripts.

In the Magento admin open Content, then Design, then Configuration, and edit the scope you want (the whole site or one store view).

Under HTML Head, find Scripts and Style Sheets, or the equivalent footer scripts field, and paste your snippet in the footer scripts area.

Save the configuration, then flush the cache from System, then Cache Management.

Reload your store in a private window.

After saving, open your website in a private window, wait a few seconds and look for the chat button. If you do not see it, clear any caching plugin or CDN cache and reload.

Then open the Install Guide in the Chatdek portal; it confirms when it can see the widget on your website.

Make sure you pasted the whole line, with nothing added inside the quotes, and that it is saved and published.

Check that a cookie or security plugin is not blocking third-party scripts, and that your domain matches the website address in your Chatdek account.
