1. Does it answer from your information?
Ask it twenty questions your customers really ask, including ones where the right answer is "I do not know". A good chatbot admits gaps and lets you fill them.
2. Can it do the front-desk jobs?
Answers are the start. Look for booking inside the chat, lead capture, forms and a live hand-over to your team, ideally in one plan rather than four add-ons.
3. How does it handle people and after-hours?
Check that a visitor can ask for a person, that your team gets alerted, and that there is a message form when nobody is online.
4. Languages and accessibility
If your visitors speak more than one language, test the chat, the forms and the emails in each. Right-to-left languages need proper layout.
5. Setup and control
You should be able to install it with one line of code, change what it knows without a developer, and see what visitors asked. Ask about a free trial and about what happens at plan limits.
6. Honest limits
Be wary of claims that it replaces your whole team. Look for clear statements of what it does not do, such as taking payments or phone calls.
Where Chatdek fits
Chatdek is built for small and local-service businesses: an AI receptionist with booking, lead capture and hand-over in one plan, 16 languages, one-line install and a 7-day trial with no card. If you need a large multi-channel support platform, compare larger tools, and see our fair comparisons.
