1. Extra leads and bookings
Count visitors who leave without contacting you. If the chat turns even a small share into a lead or booking, multiply by your average job value and your close rate.
2. Time saved
Estimate how many repeat questions your team answers each week and how long each takes. Multiply by an hourly cost. The chatbot answers those instantly, though not all of them.
3. After-hours enquiries
Look at when enquiries arrive. Evenings and weekends are often when visitors browse. An answer or a booking at that moment is one you would otherwise have lost or answered a day later.
A worked example with placeholders
Replace each value with yours: extra bookings a month times average value, plus hours saved times hourly cost, minus the plan price. If the result is clearly positive on conservative numbers, the trial is worth running.
Measure, do not assume
After a month, read the report: chats, leads, bookings and unanswered questions. Chatdek's reports show these so you can compare with your estimate.
