How does widget customisation work?

Open Widget Setup in the ChatDek portal.

Choose your colours, logo, avatar, launcher style and position, greeting and header.

Add suggested questions, proactive messages, an invite bubble or an announcement bar if you want them.

Save. Changes show on your website without touching the install snippet again.

Questions about widget customisation

Do I need a developer to customise the ChatDek widget?

No. You change the widget's look and messages in Widget Setup in the portal. The only code is the install snippet, which you paste once.

Can the widget match my brand?

Yes. You choose the colours, logo, avatar, launcher style and position, greeting and header.

When do proactive messages appear?

You choose the trigger: time on page, how far the visitor scrolls, when they are about to leave, specific pages, or mobile or desktop visitors.

Can I white label the widget?

Yes. White label is available on the Agency and Ultimate plans.
