Rules that work
Say who is talking and what you can do. Offer two or three quick options, so visitors can tap instead of type. Avoid vague openers such as "Hello!" on their own.
- Keep it under 20 words
- Offer quick-reply chips for common questions
- Match the tone of your website
- Let visitors close it easily
General greetings
- Hi! Ask me anything about our services, prices or opening hours.
- Welcome. I can answer questions and help you book. What do you need?
- Questions? I am here day and night, and a person can join if you prefer.
Pricing page invitations
- Comparing plans? I can explain the differences in a minute.
- Not sure which option fits? Tell me what you need and I will point you to it.
- Looking at prices? Ask me anything before you decide.
Industry examples
- Clinic: Need an appointment, or have a question about a treatment?
- Restaurant: Want to see the menu, check dietary options or book a table?
- Real estate: Looking for a property? Tell me your area and budget.
- Agency: Curious how we work? Ask me about services, process or pricing.
Timing
Show an invitation after the visitor has spent a little time on the page, or when they are about to leave. In Chatdek you can choose the trigger, set different rules for phones, and turn invitations off on pages where they would get in the way.
